All lights are off
Lights came on, then went out
Only the power light is on
Error light is flashing or on
Error light is on and power light is flashing
If the printer does not print, see if the status of your printer's lights is listed below, then try the solutions listed.
Try one or more of these solutions:
power button to make sure that the printer is on.
The printer's voltage may not match the outlet rating. Turn off the printer and unplug it immediately. Then, check the printer labels.
If the voltage does not match, DO NOT PLUG YOUR PRINTER BACK IN. Contact your dealer.
Try one or more of these solutions:
Running a printer operation check.
If the check page prints correctly, make sure that the printer software and your application are installed correctly.
Using EPSON Spool Manager.
If this does not work, replace the ink cartridges.Replacing an Empty Ink Cartridge.
Check EPSON Status Monitor 3 (Windows) or EPSON StatusMonitor (Macintosh) to find the cause of the error, and then try one or more of these solutions:
paper out light is on and there is no paper in the printer, load paper into the sheet feeder.
ink out light is flashing, the ink supply is low. Obtain a replacement cartridge of the appropriate type. To determine which cartridge is low, see Replacing an Empty Ink Cartridge.
ink out light is on and the ink cartridge is empty, replace the appropriate ink cartridge. To determine which ink cartridge is empty, see Replacing an Empty Ink Cartridge.
Follow the steps below.

Press the paper button, and then remove any paper in the printer.

![]() | Turn the printer off. Check for and remove any foreign objects or pieces of paper from inside the printer. Also make sure that there is sufficient space around the vent on the back of the printer to allow proper ventilation. Remove any objects blocking the vent. Then, turn the printer back on. |
