Configuring the Network Card Slot (for Windows)

To share the memory card slot on a network, set File Sharing Setup to Enable on the printer’s control panel. To make the memory card writable, set the Share mode to Read/Write. For details, see Memory Card Access Settings.
Note:
This feature is not available for all printers or may not be enabled.

Confirming the network card slot

Confirm the host name to share on a network.
Start EpsonNet Config.
Select the printer and click Configuration.
Click MS Network - Basic.
Confirm the host name.

Connecting the network card slot

Map the printer’s memory card slot as network drive.
Windows Vista: Click Start button, All Programs, Accessories, and then Run.
Window XP/2000: Click Start then Run.
Enter the printer’s host name in Open, then click OK.
Input format: \\(the printer’s host name)\
In the displayed window, right-click the MEMORYCARD icon and click Map Network Drive.
Note:
MEMORYCARD is the factory default share name.
Select a drive letter from the Drive list.
Note:
To use the network storage each time you start the computer, select the Reconnect at logon checkbox.
Click Finish.
The mapped network drive appears in Computer (or My Computer).
Note:
When Enable is selected as the file sharing setting, USB-connected computers cannot access the memory card.
When Read Only is selected and data is deleted using the computer, the data appears deleted but is not actually deleted. (Click Refresh and the icon reappears.)
