Loading Paper
Loading paper into the rear feeder
Loading paper into the front paper cassette
Loading paper into the rear feeder
Open and extend the paper support.
Slide the edge guide.
Load the paper short edge first, even for landscape printing, with the printable side up.
Place the paper behind the tabs.
Slide the edge guide to the right. Make sure it fits under the
arrow mark inside the left edge guide.
Open and extend the output tray.
Note:
Leave enough space in front of the printer for the paper to be fully ejected.
Make sure the CD/DVD guide is not extended.

Loading paper into the front paper cassette
Note:
You cannot load Legal size paper or envelopes into the front paper cassette.
Pull out the front paper cassette.
Lift off the cover.
Pinch the knob and slide the paper guides to accommodate the paper size you are loading.
Load paper with the printable side face down.
Note:
Align the edges of the paper before loading.
Do not load paper above the
arrow mark inside the paper guides.
Fit the edges of the paper snugly against the paper guides. The paper will not be loaded correctly if it overflows or does not fit properly.
Replace the cover.
Keep the cassette flat as you insert it back into the printer.
Open and extend the output tray.
Note:
Leave enough space in front of the printer for the paper to be fully ejected.
Make sure the CD/DVD guide is not extended.
Do not remove the front paper cassette while the printer is printing.
