Setting the BLUETOOTH Passkey (BT PIN Code Set)

If you select Pairing as the BT Mode or On as the BT Encryption setting, the passkey must be entered into a BLUETOOTH-enabled device before it can communicate with and print from the printer.

Note:

Be sure to set a unique passkey before using BLUETOOTH communication.

To change the passkey, follow the instructions below.

Press the

Setup button to enter the Setup mode.

Press the

or

button on the printer to select the Bluetooth Settings.

Press the

or

button on the printer to select BT PIN Code Set.

Press the

button on the printer to confirm your selection.

Press the

/

buttons to select a number for the first digit, then press the

/

buttons to change the digit.

Select numbers for the second through fourth digits in the same manner, then press the OK button to activate the passkey.
