Setting the BLUETOOTH Passkey (BT PIN Code Set)
If you select Pairing as the BT Mode or On as the BT Encryption setting, the passkey must be entered into a BLUETOOTH-enabled device before it can communicate with and print from the printer.
Note:|
Be sure to set a unique passkey before using BLUETOOTH communication.

To change the passkey, follow the instructions below.

Press the
 [Setup] button to enter the Setup mode. |
 |
Press the
 or  button to select Bluetooth Settings, then press the OK button. |
 |
Press the
 or  button on the printer to select BT PIN Code Set, then press the button on the printer. |
 |
Press the
or buttons to select a number for the first digit, then press the or buttons to change the digit. |
 |
Select numbers for the second through fourth digits in the same manner, then press the OK button to activate the passkey.
