If you select Pairing as the BT Mode or On as the BT Encryption setting, the passkey must be entered into a Bluetooth-enabled device before it can communicate with and print from the printer.

Note:

Be sure to set a unique passkey before using Bluetooth communication.

To change the passkey, follow the instructions below.

Press the [Setup] button.

Press the or button to highlight Bluetooth Settings, then press the OK button.

Select BT PIN Code Set.

1. Press the or button to select BT PIN Code Set.

2. Press the  button.

Select the digit number.

1. Press the or button to select the digit number.

2. Press the button to change the digit.

Select numbers for the second through fourth digits in the same manner, then press the OK button to activate the passkey.
