Buttons

Printing

Button
Function
Press to turn the printer on and off.
Press to load or eject paper.
Press to resume printing after a paper out error or multiple page feed error.
Press to resume printing when the printer’s ink pads are nearing the end of their service life.
Press and hold for 3 seconds to cancel printing during a print job.
Press to move the ink cartridge holder to the ink cartridge replacement position.
When the  light is off, press and hold for 3 seconds to clean the print head.

Status lights

Printing

Light
Description
On when the printer is on.
Flashes when the printer is receiving data, printing, replacing an ink cartridge, charging ink, or cleaning the print head.
On when the printer is out of paper, when multiple sheets of paper are fed at the same time, or the CD/DVD tray is not loaded correctly.
Flashes when paper or the CD/DVD tray is jammed, or when the output tray is in an incorrect position.
On when an ink cartridge is expended, when wrong cartridge is installed, or when an ink cartridge is not installed correctly.
Flashes when an ink cartridge is nearly expended.
