Loading Paper

Follow the steps below to load EPSON special media into the printer.

Caution:

Do not use plain paper as this may cause the unit to malfunction.

Open the paper feeder, then slide out the paper support.

Lower the output tray.

Slide the left edge guide to the left.

Fan a stack of paper, then tap it on a flat surface to even the edges.

Load the paper with the printable side up so it is against the right edge guide, and slide it into the paper feeder. Then slide the left edge guide against the left edge of the paper. Make sure that the paper stack is loaded under the tabs inside the edge guides.

Note:

Do not touch or allow anything to come into contact with the printed side of paper with a shiny finish. After printing on media, allow the ink to set for a few hours before handling them.

Leave enough space in front of the printer for the paper to be fully ejected.

Make sure that the paper stack is flush with or lower than the triangular load-limit mark on the edge guide.
