Conserving Color Ink
The window below appears when color ink runs low and there is more black ink than color ink. It appears only when plain papers is selected as the paper type, and Text or Text & Image is selected as the Quality Option.

This feature is not available for Windows Me and 98 SE.

The window gives you the option to either continue using color ink normally or conserve color ink by switching to Black Ink Only mode.
Click the Yes button to use Black Ink Only mode and print your documents using black ink only. You will see the same window the next time you print a similar job.
Click the No button to continue using the remaining color ink for the job you are printing. You will see the same window the next time you print a similar job, and again have the option to conserve color ink.
Click Disable this feature to continue using the remaining color ink. This window will not be displayed the next time you print a similar job.
