If an error occurs, the scanner stops operating. All the indicator lights flash, and the E letter appears in the Copy window. Turn off the scanner using its On button, then turn it back on.

If the all indicator lights are still flashing and you see the E letter in the Copy window.

• The scanner may be malfunctioning.

• The scanner lamp may need to be replaced.
