Selecting the correct paper type
The printer automatically adjusts itself for the type of paper you select in your print settings. That is why the paper type setting is so important. It tells your printer what kind of paper you are using and adjusts the ink coverage accordingly. The table below lists the settings you should choose for your paper.

Selecting the paper source
You can select from which cassette(s) to feed paper with the paper source setting in the printer driver settings.

Feed paper only from paper cassette 1.

Feed paper only from paper cassette 2.

Paper cassette 2 supports plain paper size B5 or larger only.

Cassette 1 then 2
|
Feed paper from cassette 1, then switch to cassette 2 when the paper in the cassette 1 runs out.
Make sure you load both cassettes with the same paper type and size.
