Instructions

1. Remove Smart Panel and Epson Twain 5 from add/remove programs under control panel.

2. Del the specific folder of Epson from c:\program files\EPSON\ and also EPFB5 from C:\WINDOWS\TWAIN_32\EPFB5

3. Unplug the USB cable.

4. Re-install Smart Panel with an administrative privilege. Please refer to the Smart Panel installation instructions and follow the screen steps carefully.

5. Reboot the system and plug in the USB cable.

6. Make sure that scanner can work fine in other applications.

7. Start to use Smart Panel. Try to scan one image and confirm if the scanning job can be finished.
