Instructions

1. Unplug the USB cable from the scanner.

2. Remove EPSON Twain 5 drivers from add and remove programs under control panel.

3. Delete the folder named Epfb5 from c:/windows/twain_32

4. Restart your pc.

5. Find the latest twain driver folder you downloaded at http://www.epson.com/ and extracted the file. Run Setup.exe to reinstall the twain driver for Windows XP

6. After finishing the step 5, plug in the USB cable.

7. Click Start/ point to Settings/ then click Control Panel. From Control Panel select the scanner and camera icon.

8. From the Scanner and Camera Properties dialog box, select the desired scanner then click Properties.

9. Select "Scan Button" from the Scanner events list. The applications that support the Scan Button feature will then be displayed in the Send To application field.

10. Select EPSON SMART PANEL.

11. Click OK.
